So, I’ve been bad. I got my website up and running in February and had blog posts through May. Then I made the final push to get my book ready in June for a July release . . . and the blog posts took a back seat. I mangled the release of the book, primarily because I’d never done it before and had no idea what I was doing. Depending on where you look, you will see that my book was published on July 4th, 15th or the 27th. Let’s just call it July 2021.
I went to my very first comic con as an attendee or a vendor at Awesome Con, August 2021 in Washington DC. Shocker, I didn’t know what I was doing there as a vendor either.
My coworker (fellow chemist) and I have published three D&D modules based on the world of Pretanni. I’ve attended two other comic cons, Cincy Comic & Expo and Baltimore Comic Con and I’ve attended an author’s conference where I was a panelist for two different discussions. I also donated a copy of my book to my old high school’s library. It’s been a blur. Now I’m learning how to market and advertise my book, while working on the sequel. Safe to say, I’ve been busy. But no more excuses, I’m going to start blogging again. My goal is at least two a month. As a bonus, I’m posting this on Nov. 30th, so I’ll post at least two for the month of December. Until then, happy holidays and good reading!
